I was looking at that really helpful Astro Imaging Channel Startools video you did and at the end (at around 2h20m) someone asked about a methodical way of inspecting an image to see how good it is.Also, in the past you have said that the workflow depends on the data - and that many problems stem from a sparse or budget setup. I have been looking for a methodical approach to assessing images to answer the following questions: - What are the strengths and weaknesses of the image? - How should I change my processing workflow based on this assessment? Have these issues been covered by a subsequent video or elsewhere? If not, do you have any advice you can give?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
